Spotlight On: Rachel Zoe's First Collection

Yesterday Ken Downing, the Fashion Director at Neiman Marcus, hosted a special presentation of Rachel Zoe's first collection featuring none other than Rachel Zoe herself and some of her favorite looks.  After seeing the first few looks, we were completely impressed by the stylist's first designer collection.  Everything from the smart design to the rich materials and attention to detail makes each piece luxurious and ultra-chic.  One of the most outstanding pieces is the Sequined Dolman Top in Ivory, a Neiman's exclusive!  We also love the Tan military-inspired suit, which was clearly designed for a confident woman.  And let's not forget about the accessories!  Her shoes are to die for: the perfect Platform Ankle Boots and super-sexy Ankle-strap Pump Sandals.  Our favorite bags are the Sophie shoulder bag in gold animal-print lambskin and the Melissa Satchel!  View the Rachel Zoe Collection available at Neiman Marcus here.

Accessories Trend: Tassels

Gone are the days when tassels were confined to loafers and home decor.  This season tassels are being featured on everything from handbags and heels to jewelry.  They add edge to a simple black clutch, sophistication to a carry-all tote, and allure to a pair of very sexy lace-up Louboutins.  Tassels are even standing alone (or in pairs rather) as statement earrings that are both fun and glamorous. Whether you want to be bold or play it safe, don't be afraid to have fun with this trend!

Fallon Obsession: Missoni Hits the Bulls-eye!

We are OBSESSED with Missoni's special collection for Target!  This is Target's most extensive collaboration ever.  The collection includes everything from apparel and accessories for men, women and children as well as shoes, beauty items, technology accessories, home decor, patio furniture and one very chic bicycle.  Prices range from $2.99 to $599.99.  Missoni for Target will be available in stores and online from September 13 - October 22.  After viewing the collection, we predict it will be flying off the rack!  This is one collaboration that's worth getting up early for or even camping out...if only they had a Missoni for Target sleeping bag ;)

Fashion's Night Out!
