Dries Van Noten Spring 2012

Paris Fashion Week has begun, and I love the prints in Dries Van Noten's Spring 2012 collection.  The collection ranged from tropical day prints switching to city night prints halfway through the show.  I loved that the day prints were lighter, vibrant, and colorful juxtaposed by the dark muted colors and black for night.  Check out the entire collection here!

Lanvin's Fall Collection consisted of mostly dark pieces with a few bold pops of color; however it was Alber Elbaz's dark floral prints that really stood out.  While floral prints are traditionally reserved for spring collections, Lanvin's romantic black and grey floral prints feel perfect for fall.

New Fall Scent: Cartier Baiser Volé

Cartier’s latest fragrance, Baiser Volé, translated as ‘Stolen Kiss’ is one of my favorite new fall scents.  The name comes from the idea that a stolen kiss is from a moment of pure passion.  It features the lily, a flower of passion and femininity to create a fresh, floral, and powdery aroma.  It will certainly be a bestseller so be sure to get yours asap!

Every year around this time I find myself on the search for the perfect handbag and pair of leather boots.  However, this fall I'm looking for new ways to add leather to my wardrobe. Whether you want an edgy or sophisticated look, we've found some amazing leather pieces that will help you fall in love with fall!  Topping my list this season: leather shorts!
